Chapter 4
“Clubbing?” “Yeah Jacqueline invited me.” “Well I am not too sure about this Veronica.” “Come on mother, I am 18 I think I can handle it.” “It is true Matilda she is growing up,” my dad come up behind her and placed his hand on her shoulder, “and just imagine honey she may be able to find her type there.” “You may have a point there Martin, but what if she finds her type and she still isn’t a full vampire?” “Mother you don’t have to worry, it will happen. Now I am going to get ready now.” I walked up the stairs to my room. When you go clubbing what the heck are you suppose to wear? I looked into my closet, and tried to find something to wear. “Here.” Next thing you know I have a dress in my face. I pulled it down and saw Olivia in my doorway. “Why are you giving this to me?” “Because, if you find your type then you won’t be such a misfit.” “Gee I don’t know whether to be happy or insulted.” “Just take the dress.” “Thanks.” I looked down at the dress: it was a purplish grey with noodle straps and was about knee length. I have to find my type soon… I need to make my parents proud of me.
I got ready and looked at the clock. 7:56 Ok so she will be here any minute. I looked over to my mirror that was in the corner of the room, “I have to find that person…” Oh crap, I looked at the mirror closer and realized that the dress that was knee length on my sister only reached my thigh. Well that is great I knew I was taller than my sister but not that much taller. I don’t know if I can go like this, “Veronica your friend is here.” I heard a voice say down the stairs, but it wasn’t a voice I hear often… CRAP! I ran down the stairs to see my brother kissing Jacqueline’s hand. “Hi Jacqueline I see you met my brother Zachery and now we must go.” I grabbed her hand and lead her out the door. “Well now you met the womanizer of the family.” “What? Him? He seemed so nice.” “Ha don’t let his charm fool you.” “Ha ok I won’t. By the way your dress is awesome!” “What? Oh this, it is my sister’s. You don’t think it is a bit short?” “Oh no of course not, I mean just look at mine.” I did, her dress was a blue dress that wrapped around her neck and cut off at mid-thigh. “I guess your right.” So where are we going to go? I mean I know I few places but never been to them.” “I asked around from some people I met in the area when I went shopping for this dress and they said to go to the one in the next town over, it has a pink and purple cat on the front.” “Oh you mean the Cheshire Cat?” “Yeah that is the place.” “Ok, I have an idea of where that is at.” I walked over to the driveway and opened the garage. As the garage went up I had totally forgot what else was in the garage besides my car.
“Uh Veronica why is they a coffin in your garage?” “Oh that it is a… a Halloween decoration that never went back to storage.” “Oh ok, I guess that makes sense then.” Phew I am glad she believed that, I forgot that grandmother was sealed in there. “Hey why is it bolted down?” I looked over as she was about to touch it. “Hey um lets get going ok?” “Oh ok.” I now remember the reason for it being bolted, it is because the last time grandmother woke up she wasn’t happy to find my father married to my mother, in fact she had her witch friend turn mother into a toad. After my grandmother went back to sleep my mother bolted it shut so she couldn’t get out. I guess even us vampires don’t get along with the in-laws, although I don’t think father has every met mother’s parents. “Wow you have a nice car Veronica.” “What? Oh that thing, I guess it is ok.” “Veronica it is a freaking Hummer!” “Well I guess it is cool, I don’t use it much since I walk almost everywhere. So are you ready then?” “Yeah, sure lets go!” “Ok, here we go then.”

Chapter 3
I went out the door and there stood this rather tan girl who was pretty much a total valley girl and man she was really tall: like I am a tall person being 5’9’’ but wow she was like 6 foot. She had long black hair down to her mid back and the most striking blue eyes ever. “You must be Jacqueline.” “Yes, Jacqueline Stone. It is nice to meet you, Veronica is it?” “Yes, ha my mother must of have told you about everything there is about Me.” Apart from being a vampire I would hope. “Ha how did you know?” “Oh I know my mother, she is always talking.” “Ha ok, I hope you don’t mind walking with me to school. I don’t really know my way around the town yet.” “Oh of course not it, I know how it is to be in a new town.” Seeing how we have moved like five times thanks to big brother. “Ok well thanks.” We started to walk to the school which was only a couple blocks down the road, “So you know so much about me, yet I know nothing about you.” “Oh how rude of me. Lets see hmm, well I am a senior I live with my brother Jack but you won’t see much of him.” “Why is that?” “Well he likes to keep to himself and he is kind of gothic and likes the night ha. Also he is in the University here.” “Oh that is cool. Richmond University then?” “Yes he goes there, which he isn’t too happy about. The university requires a sort of uniform.” “Well he should be happy because at least theirs isn’t as dorky as ours.” I looked down to look at the uniform, short plaid skirt with black knee highs, a white shirt with a black jacket, and the worst part was the green tie. “Yeah you got a point there.” We laughed, for a girl who comes off as a valley girl she sure isn’t annoying. “So I have a question.” I looked at her, “What is it?” “I was wondering, why did you dye your hair silver?” “Ha oh that, well I was actually born with it.” “What! That is so cool, I wish I was born with silver hair it is so pretty.” Ha ok her comes the valley girlishness.
“Well this is it.” “Whoa it is huge!” “Ha what did you expect?” “I don’t know, so hey this isn’t an all girl school is it?” “No of course not, I would go insane.” “Ha me too, I just wanted to make sure.” “Veronica! Oh Veronica!” “Oh great…” “What?” “Amy Smith.” “Who?” “Veronica how was your summer vacation? I know we have been back in school for two weeks now but I haven’t gotten to talk to you.” There is a reason so for that. “Oh sorry I was busy with back to school things, and my vacation was very nice.” “Well I am glad to hear it; oh wow you must think I am a huge clod for not introducing myself to your new friend. Hi I am Amy Smith Class Representative.” “It is nice to meet you, I am Jacqueline Stone.” “So will you be in Class A or B?” “Class B.” “Oh you will be in class with Veronica and me.” “Oh that is great because I don’t know anyone else.” “Yeah we will be best friends, now I have to go and take care of some things see you in class.” “Bye.”
Then she finally walked away, “Wow she sure is peppy.” “Yeah doesn’t she remind you of that one girl from the movie Grease” “Oh my gosh, yes!” “Let’s get to class.” We walked in the building and went up the stairs that were on the right of the entrance. “Wow how do you not get lost in here?” “Well as big as it is there are only so many class rooms so it is kind of easy. Our class room is right there at the end of the hall.” “Ok I see it now.” We walked to the class room and took our seats which strangely as it seems the school don’t have assign seats. As soon as I sat down I felt someone jabbing at my side. I turned around and say Jeremy the school pervert. Great that is just who I want to sit behind me. “So Veronica, who is your lovely tall friend here?” “Oh right, this is Jacqueline. Jacqueline this is Jeremy the school own pervert.” “Now why do you have to be so mean Veronica?” “Just ignore him Jacqueline.” “Sure will do.” “AWWWW COME ON!” “Is there something the matter Mister Jones?” I looked up and our teacher Ms. Jefferson was standing at the front of the class, “No Ms. Jefferson I was just getting acquainted with our new student here.” “Very well, but it is time to start class. Now you can save your being a pest for after class.” The day went on and Jacqueline and I grew closer which was weird seeing how I don’t have very many friends here.
“So what did you think of the school?” “I like it; it seems like a nice place. There were some major hotties in our class.” “Yeah there are some nice looking guys in class but none of them would give me the time of day.” “Why do you say that?” “Well I am kind of a misfit.” “No? You? You got to be joking. You seem like you would have every on their hands and knees.” “Ha really?” “Well yeah, you are tall slim, tan, and you have the coolest hair. Not to mention your face doesn’t have a single flaw.” “Ha well thanks. I guess I am just not used to the idea of not being a misfit.” “Who tells you that you’re a misfit?” “My family, well not my younger sister but everyone else does.” “That is horrible, why would they say that?” “Well for my family it is true; I am not like any of them.” “And that is a bad thing? You see I am different than my family and I am happy I am. My family are freaks.” “Well thanks I guess for try to make feel better.” “Ha sure no problem, hey lets go out tonight.” “What?” “Is there any good clubs around here?” “Um not really, but a couple cities over I think there is.” “Well lets go then.” “I guess it could be fun.” “It will be fun, you will see!” “Ok I guess I will see you later tonight then.” “Yeah I will come over at like seven.” “Ok bye.” “Bye.”

Chapter 2
Entry 346 08-25-11
Hmm where do I start? I know I have said this in theses entries multiple but here it goes…Ok I am Veronica Price; I am an 18 year old vampire. I have two sisters Olivia (22) and Angel (16). I also have a brother, Zachary (24), and he isn’t around much he is always with a women every night so… oh yeah my transformation still isn’t complete till I have drunken the blood of someone who is my “blood type” as my dad puts it. I have no idea what my blood type is… he says I will just know I guess. So yeah I am the misfit of the family, all of my family has black hair, a pale complexion, and weird as it is they have purple eyes, just like every other vampire I know. When it comes to me well I have rather tan skin for a vampire because I am not allergic to the sun like my family is: they can only stay in the sun for about 4 hours. I was born with silver hair, like the color of granite. I have the darkest green eyes ever. But all of this doesn’t come close to the thing that makes me a misfit… I don’t like to suck blood, I find it gross. I will though drink blood out of a glass.
“Veronica! It is time for school young lady!” “Ok mother!” sheesh does she have to yell?
Oh yeah I forgot to mention… I am still in high school I am a senior this year. And also I am worried because some weird people moved in down the street and they don’t seem friendly.
I went down the stairs to see my mother standing at the end of them.
“Oh by the way Veronica, one of our new neighbors will be walking with you on the way to school with you.” “What!?” “Her name is Jacqueline and she is in your grade.” “And you didn’t think of running this by me first?” “Now don’t talk to your mother like that young lady.” “Fine I will walk with her… maybe…” “What did you say?” “Nothing mother dearest.” I turned from her and walked out the door.

So I started a new story cuz it came to me very randomly haha.So here is the new story... ha I don't have a title yet..

Chapter 1
“Why is it in every movie we are evil?” “Huh?” “Well look at the plot of this movie. We are creatures that kill humans and have no mind.” “Yeah well that is because the world thinks we don’t actually exist.” I looked over to Olivia sitting in her chair looking out the window. “Well maybe if we didn’t have to hide who we really are they would-” “They would hunt us! Don’t you understand Veronica? They make these movies and people believe that we would be like that.” “Well Henry wasn’t like that!” “Henry is dead!” I looked down at the floor “…look I am sorry I know how you felt about him. You know that humans who are kind to us and know us they end up dead. Just look at grandma's best friend Rick.” “Well first off he went and told the church and you know how they were back then or well just the people in general. May I remind you the Salem Witch Trials?” “I guess you have somewhat of a point there. But still humans are a hostile and violent race and they don’t deserve to live.” “There you go again Olivia, cursing the human race. Why do you hate them so? Don’t you believe in a world where we can all live together and not in secret?” “No I do not believe that and my reason for hating them is none of your business! God you’re such a misfit!” she got up from her chair and went into the other room.
I walked to the fire place across the room, there was a picture of Henry and I. “Don’t mind her Veronica, you know how she is.” I turned around and there was Angel. “Yeah I know, I just don’t understand why she hates them so much.” “I don’t think any of us will ever know…” “Argh I really am a misfit…” “Aw don’t say that. You know I am envious of you.” “You’re envious of me?” “Well you can do all these things that I can’t like be out in the sun for more than four hours. You can dye your hair; you can be around men without being thirsty, and so much more.” “That is true I guess but I don’t want to be different.” “Why not? Being different isn’t always a bad thing.” “When you’re different from your kind and different from humans yes it is.” “Well have you ever thought that your being different could help you later?” “I used to, but no I doubt it.” “Don’t give up hope sister.” “Ha Angel how is that you a 16 year old be so wise?” “Ha Veronica it has been four years since my full transformation, and I have had time to gather information.” “Yeah, here I am at 18 and I have not even had a full transformation.” “Just you wait you will soon, your just a late bloomer.” “Maybe your right Angel.” “Aren’t I always?” she turned and walked out the door. I sat down on the in Olivia’s chair and picked up my journal.
Entry 345 08-24-11
Why the heck am I such a misfit? Maybe Angel is right maybe not being allergic to the sun and having silver dye able hair and green eyes and not having the urges to suck blood will help me in the long run. But what does it truly mean to be a… Vampire?

Ch 2 of The Clash

So I finally got back to writing this, I have had my notebook with my story in my car for ages and finally got it out.

"One ticket to Erwin" "Both ways or one?" I had never thought of it before, do I want to even come back? "One way please." "That will be five dollars then." I handed him the five dollars and took the ticket. With my luck the train had just rolled in to the station. I got on to the train, put away my luggage, and took my seat. I looked around, being that it was nine o'clock it was pretty dead. It was a 6 hour ride to Erwin then I would have to drive the rest of the way to Elizabethton. My seat was in the back of the train car where the seats faced each other. Right before the train was about to leave a man came stumbling in and sat in the seat facing me and his luggage flopping to the ground. Great a drunk that is all I need right now.
"No one is sitting here right? Ma'am?" "What? Oh no, no one is sitting there." so maybe he isn't drunk then. "Glad to hear it, my name is Henry." He was a taller man from what I could tell, he had strawberry blond hair with a scruffy looking beard. He wore a plaid shirt and ripped blue jeans. His eyes were something like I had never seen before, so warm and inviting yet they seemed as if the could look right through you. The color was even more astounding, they were a light green almost gray with a deep evergreen border around them. "Uh this is usually when you introduce yourself." "Huh what? Oh sorry. I am Aubrey." "Well Aubrey where are ya from?" "Nashville, and you?" "Actually right outside Nashville I worked on my parent's farm," oh a farm boy huh? "so where ya heading Miss Aubrey? If ya don't mind me asking?" "Oh I don't mind at all, I am heading to Elizabethton, well Erwin and then to Elizabethton. How about yourself?" "Me? Well I am not too sure, you see this was a last minute decision for me. I am heading to Erwin as of right now, but from there I am not sure," Oh so he isn't a planner, not too surprising. "I guess I will just try and find a good college and try my hand at country singing." "So you sing then?" "Well sure, well never in front of anyone." "So that is why you left the farm?" "Yes, that and me and my folks don't see eye to eye. They want me to take over the farm and it is hard work and I enjoy it but it just isn't for me. But I guess a city slicker like yourself wouldn't understand that." "A city slicker like me?" "Well yeah, just look at ya. Your hair is all fancy like, your clothes look like something out a magazine, and you seem like ya never worked a day in your life." "Well at least I have proper grammer, you, you hick!" I got up and sat down on the other side of the isle. How dare he talk to me like that.

The Clash Ch 1

Ok so here is the new story

Chapter 1

"What do you mean your not going to go to Harvard?" I turend to my mom who was standing in my doorway and her face was the redest I have ever seen it, "I don't want to do it anymore mom, it isn't my dream, it is yours!" "What? We have been talking about Harvard since you were fifteen and now three years later you change your mind! Why?" I looked out my window to see the busyiness of Nashville, "I want to be an artist mom." "An artist! You must be joking you have no future there, will you starve." "No I won't mom, I am good and I know I can do it." "Nonsense, you young lady are going to Harvard and that is that. Now your father and I are going to the Opry and will be back late, so maybe by then you will see things more clearly." She slammed the door behind her as she left. I have no idea how she thinks she can boss me around, I am adult now.
Just then my cell phone rang, "Hello?" "Aubrey you got to get out here!" "Wait, where are you?" "Elizabethton, now get your butt down here." "Jill calm down, what is going on?" "There is a guy here who wants you to do a commission for him!" "What! Who! Why!" "Haha and your telling me to calm down, he is a local artist here and I showed him some of your drawings. He said he would pay you sixty dollars for each of the commissons." "Oh my gosh! That is amazing!" "How fast can you get here?" "Well I have to ask my parents... crap I know my mom is not going to let me go." "Aubrey you are eighteen years old, you don't need their permisson anymore. You are an adult now, you can make you own desisions now!" "Ok I will leave tonight, my parents will be at the Opry all night. I will catch the nine o'clock train, so I have a little over two hours to get out of Nashville to that one train station in the country." "Ok see you in a couple of days." "Yeah see you later!"
